About the partnership
Who LAS Lawyers are

LAS Lawyers is a NSW commercial law firm with deep expertise in commercial leasing, property transactions, venue licensing, and business law for hospitality and F&B operators. Led by solicitor Justin Sammut, the firm has acted for RagingMonk and its portfolio of businesses across some of the most complex lease negotiations in the Sydney hospitality market.

Justin's direct, commercially-minded approach means he understands what operators actually need from a lease — not just what's legally correct, but what's commercially sustainable in a competitive hospitality market.

What we've done together

LAS Lawyers has acted for RagingMonk across commercial lease negotiations with Frasers Property (Maestria at Rhodes Corporate Park, Auntie Tang at Edmondson Square and ECQ Outlet), as well as leases for BOM BBQ and Kitchai at Edmondson Square. In each case, Justin and the team negotiated directly against major institutional landlords and their external solicitors — including Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

The firm has consistently protected our clients' operational interests while maintaining the commercial relationships that matter for ongoing lease management.

RagingMonk on LAS Lawyers
"Every venue we've opened involved a lease negotiation with a landlord who had more resources than us. Justin levelled that playing field every single time."
LAS Lawyers has been our commercial law partner across every major lease in the RagingMonk portfolio — from the first Edmondson Square tenancy through to Maestria at Rhodes. Justin Sammut understands what operators actually need from a lease, not just what the document says. For any hospitality operator about to sign a commercial lease or apply for a venue licence, LAS Lawyers is our first recommendation.
